My reply on the BSG episode ” The ties that bind” I was hoping Cally would get the chance to become friends with Athena and also she really wasn’t given that many speaking roles during her three seasons on Bsg. She should have gotten at least one episode showing the actress’ talent like something growing after the cut scene from season 3 episode “The son also rises” with Athena in the hanger or the scene in the tool room that would have been great because it is on rare occassion that we get to see the minor characters play a bigger part just as Tahmoh Penikett got last season in the episode the “The woman King “( yes I liked it) which is one of my favorites cause Helo is my favorite character. It is the right of all characters to have a chance to grow plus I always thought Boomer would be the one to kill Cally if murder ever came to her character after all with boomer’s new idiology that cylons belong with their own she and the chief can get back together and one last comment I really dont like Tory as a cylon she just playing the new role well slutty ( no growing there). well that’s all, more Helo please Bsg producers if you haven’t filmed the last of the season!

Hey Guys!

I just now stumbled on BSGcast and you guys ROCK! Last night was crazy! The hour passed to quickly though for sure. I have a comment that’s a little off topic but would love to hear your response…

No one seems to have noticed this but, in Razor when young Adama is on the hybrid ship and attempts to rescue the prisoners did anyone else notice or think that the quick glimpses we got of those prisoners were Leoben and Six? That would be something interesting to look into and elaborate on.

Again, you guys are awesome and I’m glad to have found your site!

You know for the longest time I was under the impression that Gata was a cylon. The reason I think that is becasue in season 1 Gata makes little mistakes that could have cost crew men there lives, for example when the raptor jumps in Kobol for the first time they almost jumped in to close and they blamed Gata. Now I know that does not make him a Cylon but here is one thing that tipped me off when Boomer returns from blowing up the Basestar in season 1 and she walks on to the CIC Gata shakes her hand, this would have been normal but the Camera looks down just a little bit and what does Boomer do next, she shoots Adama with a gun that wasn’t even her normal gun that pilots carry(you know the one with the double barrel). Now what I think is that when Boomer “shook Gata’s hand” Gata actuly gave her that gun. Now I know that there is only one Cylon model left to be revealed and I heard Matt and Nat’s opinion on who the last one is, but look just watch the last episode again and if you do you have to admit that somthing very strange was going on. That is all I have to say, and I hope everyone had fun at Los Vegas, I was in Minnesota, where it snowed.

Deleted scenes:
I was a bit disappointed with the Dee/Starbuck deleted scene in ‘Eye of Jupitor.’ I think that it would have been great when Starbuck said ‘I love Lee, I hate Lee,’ if Dualla had said ‘Yah, sometimes I hate him too.’
But I did like it that she didn’t cut Kara any slack about her behaviour. That she’s an immature and selfish and destructive person, but you still feel for her…
RJM talks about a lot of deleted stuff in the podcasts, stuff that’s not on the DVD! Too bad. The podcasts are always enlightening. I love hearing the evolution of the stories and episodes and I agree with all their decisions about what to include and what’s not important.
Can’t wait for tonight!

Hi,
Thanks very much for this once again. Your perspectives are very interesting, as always.
Wish I could make Vegas!!!

I also wish each episode could be 60-90 minutes long with lots of extra stuff in each one.

I agree that the TV cut of ‘Unfinished Business’ (although I will never probably watch it again on the DVD) is to be all the more appreciated, in terms of what they did manage to get across in that small amount of time.

I was hesitant to start watching deleted scenes on the S 3 DVD because I don’t want them to change the episode, but they are too interesting to ignore. Just makes me want each episode to be longer tho!

You guys are the best!

Can’t wait for Friday…..
