LIVE in Las Vegas – BSGcast: 4.03 “He That Believeth in Me”
At long last, our season has begun… and for a lot of fans like us, it began in style! With Dr. Kevin Grazier, Science Adviser on BSG, and Luciana Carro, AKA Captain ‘Kat’ Katraine, along with a room full of YOU we managed to have a pretty epic BSGcast to commemorate the premiere episode of Season Four!! Thanks to everyone who made it such an amazing party, and a great chance to meet so many friends in person!
The episode should be downloaded to your iTunes Podcasts by now… If you haven’t yet, you should subscribe!!
So what do you think? Should we throw another one of these for the kick-off to the back 10 episodes? Where should it be?

Yeah, finally we are allowed to share some of the fun that was obviously had by all of you last weekend. You guys crack me up, so many funny lines. I liked the introduction, and how Kevin and Luciana didn’t try to make this their own show – giving the floor to the fans instead. Last but not least – big kudos to the person responsible for the decoration! These flags look wonderful and make for a good cover of both the desk and the wall.

I really wish I had known about this site months ago! I woulda had time to plan to be in Vegas. Maybe you can throw the back 10 party on the East coast? New York or Washington D.C. maybe?
Looks like you all had a blast! Luciana is truly a beautiful woman and Kevin was very poigniant but quietly hysterical. I like the flags- nice touch.

Have been waiting for this to be posted (and not yet listed with the other bsgc podcasts on I-tunes) so thanks! Wow! You all must have had so much fun. Please do this again for the second half of the season. It was great to see everyone who was there participating. What a fabulous idea this was!

OMG, Matt with the documentary style camcorder! Gotta be more shaky for BSG style. But yeah, definately do it again somwhere towards the second half of the season, maybe do it during the series finale?

It was awesome down there guys! Thanks for the good times! And as for the start of the second half of season four, I am thinking St. Louis or Dallas would be a great location for it. It would be a bit more central for those on the east coast.

I think the Vegas BSGcast video came out great! Wish I had remembered to put down my cup of Starbucks though since I was in the front row behind Mat and Nat (short hair w/glasses to the far right).. ! Heh.
I wanted to thank Matt and Nat again for hosting this event. This was a LOT of fun.. I’m thinking we should have another one for the end of the series, then maybe another for the Caprica premiere??
Good times were had by all. I can’t wait to see how the two other videos come out!! Those are: The Top 10 Reasons to Watch BSGcast (parody of Letterman’s “Top 10 List to Watch Battlestar Galactica”) and the BSG Open Forum we did earlier that afternoon.
I can’t wait to see the next episode this Friday!!!

Re. the comments from Vegas (excellent):
That’s Starbuck. She is who she always was, but this angel Leoban took her out of her exploded ship and into a new one. I think she may remember more of her Earth trip as time goes on.
I predict Sam etc. are going to be able to control the raiders and centurions but no one will know that Sam etc. are the cylons doing that.
I had hoped for some reaction from the 7 re. how the attack suddenly ended – what is their take? Do they know why that happened…that it’s because the 5 are on the fleet ships?
Can’t wait for Friday…

I agree, great style and it’d have rocked if you could have added the “BSG touch” with the shakyness and zooming

Wow, I wished I could’ve been there. The episode was amazing. First five minutes was one hell of a battle…biggest space battle yet. My only problem with the episode was that there was no Tom Zarek…where is our vice president? Two groups in the Colonials and two groups in the Cylons….Should be a great season. I loved the Adama moment. They didn’t look at each other much, just like in the miniseries at the beginning. Great cast you guys.

I love you guys. I wish I could’ve gotten my mom to let me go down to Vegas, but no such luck. Sounds like it was oodles of fun though.
Come to Portland for the back ten! The weather is crappy but out people are nice. And do another one for the series finale.

If you do, I think you should work a little more on your sound levels before you post it. The first time an audience member spoke it scared the ever-lovin’ frak out of me. There is now a dent in my ceiling about the size and shape of my head.
