BSGcast.com INTERVIEW: Katee Sackhoff Part 1 of 2
In the dead of the season break, we’ve got a shiny little gem of BSGoodness to share with you. Well, actually two. Not only is the Battlestar Prometheus story up to a climactic Episode 10 season finale, but we managed to land some face time with Katee ‘Starbuck’ Sackhoff while she was at Polaris21, and she let us in on some info on the post-Crossroads situation on her character, as well as some info on the Pegasus telemovie “Razor” and even went into the details of keeping secrets from the rest of the cast! Watch for part 2 of the interview coming next week…

So, I just watched this special interview episode, and I must say ala Borat “High five.” I’m not sure if K.S would ever become a Hepburn of movies but damn if I don’t love her on the small screen. I liked the clever cuts from you to Katee by the way. And I’m always impressed with the set and what you guys do with it. Also, I’m going to click on your links. The address you give isn’t valid. (Tripled checked the spelling since I couldn’t spell my way out of a paper bag.)
Anyhow you guys made my day. Any summer scoop on BSG is a lifesaver considering the hiatus from hell.

Wow, Katee realy seemed negative about her character :S in Razor and S4, can’t wait to see part two of this.
Anyway thx BSGcast for bringing us this interview.
Rock on!

Hey PJ… it looks like the Polaris guys are really on it; they’ve already updated for next year! We fixed the link so it should ‘do your job’
Glad you guys are loving the Katee content! We’re working on some more for next week, really interesting stuff about who she is as an actor!

a triumph of representational … um … representation. With actors and actreeses-es and people talking about BSG – with is good, and proper, as you are BSG cast.
I am glad for I see that – you can do your job.
{step back one, there} …ok,

Come on, I co-host a show called your GEEK news, of course I played Magic in grade 9! And yes, I went to the Woodlands! Did I play with you? Or was I in your way while you were trying to get to class? And yet again, you are correct: Eddie is Edward James Olmos. It’s pretty funny to hear her talk about people with such casual nicknames. Mary, James, Eddie…

PJMustang351: “I’m not sure if K.S would ever become a Hepburn of movies but damn if I don’t love her on the small screen.”
Who cares about movies??? As Mary McDonnell said it on the San Diego comic con, it’s time to get rid of that myth – that big screen is better and more important than TV. At least 80% of big budget Hollywood movies are cliche-ridden crap, and currently you can find more original, provocative, innovative, and better written works on TV than in the cinema. And roles, especially for women, tend to be better on TV. As Mary said, she never had a role as good as Laura Roslin in movies. Tell me a recent movie with a character as good as Starbuck!
