Flashback to mid-2008, this is what we signed up for: we were cliffhung like no other show on TV can do… in fact, cliffhung in a way Ron Moore has never done before, Revelations made the back half of 2008 go by REALLY slowly!
AND we announced the winner of the Ozma-7 Headphones AND tell you what’s in store as the Grand Prize for our giveaway in the back half of Season 4!
Hungry for more BSGcast? Don’t you worry, we’ve got a very special announcement about the Battlestar Galactica Prop Auction and our January 16+17 Frak-Party! Stay tuned…
Eddie and Aaron did a Q&A Session at Fan Expo Canada on Sunday, as well as signed autographs and chatted with fans. Last year we got to shoot Tricia Helfer’s Q&A and posted it here, and good news, we’ll be ding the same for this one! It was a good session… and LONG. So we’ll break it up into 3 parts and post it up here ASAP!
Thanks to everyone who stopped us and said hi while were rocking out SAVE BALTAR T-Shirts at the show! Aaron was pretty taken aback by Nat in hers
PS. We’d love to give a special thank-you to Ryan Fox from www.RGBfilter.com for asking about Eddie and Aaron’s take on the bar scene from Escape Velocity!
For this week’s BSGcast, we find ourselves in Houston, Texas, away from the usual studio and bringing you a special BSGcast from the comfort of the hotel room as we chat about how “the Hub” managed to make the lines between Human and Cylon even more blurred. After a week of fretting over the fate of Baltar and Roslin, we’re getting to see the flip-side of last week’s episode… the battle of the Resurrection Hub was glorious, but the character beats in “The Hub” were definitely the highlight. Both of us were in tears for the last scene.
What about you? Leave your comments for the second last chance at the Alienware Ozma-7 headphones!
We have to wait TWO WEEKS to find out what happens after “JUMP!”? Whose idea was Memorial Day anyway? What the hell Ron… that was amazing. Gaeta, Baltar, Roslin, Natalie, Athena… a lot of plots are all happening at once in one place in this cliffhanger. What did YOU think of “Guess What’s Coming to Dinner”?? Let us know, for a chance to win some Alienware goodies… like those $200 Ozma7 Headphones in just 2 more BSGcasts!
Matt + Nat take on the most interesting and daunting part of the Extended Edition DVD of “Razor”: The Hybrid’s Prophecy… taking it line by line and dissecting the meaning, there is a LOT more there than you might think…
Next week we finish off our DVD Review by talking about the differences in the Extended Cut and the bonus features of the DVD!
Jim’s Transcription:
At last they’ve come for me. I feel their lives, their destinies spilling out before me. The denial of the one true path, played out on a world not their own, will end soon enough.
Soon there will be four, glorious in awakening. Struggling with the knowledge of their true selves. The pain of revelation bringing new clarity. And in the midst of confusion, he will find her, enemies brought together by impossible longing, enemies now joined as one. The way forward, at once unthinkable, yet inevitable. And the fifth still in shadow, will claw toward the light, hungering for redemption that will only come in the howl of terrible suffering. I can see them all. The seven now six self-described machines, machines who believe themselves without sin. But in time, it is sin that will consume them. They will know enmity, bitterness, the wrenching agony of the one splintering into the many and then they will join the promised land, gathered on the wings of an Angel. Not an end, but a beginning.
Kara Thrace will lead the human race to its end. She is the herald of the apocalypse, the harbinger of death. They must not follow her. As my own existence comes to a close only to begin anew in ways uncertain. All this has happened before and will happen again. Again, again. Again. Again. Boom!!!!!!!
SCI FI Channel has increased its episode order for the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica to 22 from the original 13, including a special two-hour extended episode that will air during the fourth quarter of this year and be released on DVD by Universal Studios Home Entertainment thereafter. SCI FI made the announcement at its upfront press event in New York on March 21.
Battlestar Galactica will air its season-three finale on March 25 in its regular Sunday 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot. Production will begin on the new season in May, with an eye to an early 2008 premiere.
Plus, they way we hear it, the “two-hour extended episode” will be dealing with the Pegasus in the immediate wake of the Cylon attack on the Colonies. Groovy, more Cain, and at her blood-thirstiest, no less!
