Two theories that crossed my mind:
1) I honestly don’t think Amanda died, Show’s like to fallow a simple rule I like to call “The Intro Rule” witch states no character dies if they appear in an expensive inro. I know what you’re saying “she’ll be a Cylon, she’ll be like Zoë”. She can’t be like either of them simply because the technology was lost and it will take until end of season (at best) for Daniel to replicate that technology.

2) The meaning of “Zoe’s cheesy life flash back”- Resurrection!!! Zoë kept saying that she needs to become more of a machine that she needs to shut her self down. The flashback wasn’t a cheesy motive before she dies, it’s a diversion that the writers made so we think she’s dead but actually it’s a DOWNLOADING SEQUENCE back to V World!!! Her buddy died but consciousness simply downloaded back to the source. It’s a sequence like in BSG S02E18 when both Caprica 6 and Boomer downloaded in to new buddies.
